Darielle Bown

BPsych | Mental Health Coach | Founder of The Wanderlust Age
Darielle is the passionate being behind the Annual Mental Health in Hospitality Summit that has successfully run in WA for the past 4 years. Darielle has also founded Wanderlust X Hospitality, a Unique EAP (Mental Health Support) program that caters to the Hospitality Industry in WA.
Throughout working in Hospitality and Mental Health, Darielle has become immensely passionate about supporting the mental health and wellbeing of a community she was a part of for a large majority of her adult life.
Darielle is no stranger to ruffling some feathers in order to make change and plans to continue to do so within the Mental Health in Hospitality Space.
Here’s a few words from Darielle on her passion for this Campaign and all things Mental Health in Hospo:
“As someone who has worked in this industry, I understand some of the stressors, “unideal” working environments and expectations on humans in this industry to smile through their challenges. If almost every other industry in Australia is putting the work into supporting the Mental Health of their people…it’s about bloody time Hospitality does too.”
Savanna McDonald

Hospitality Alum | Psychology Grad-to-Be | WHS Advocate
After six vibrant years in the hospitality industry, both behind the bar and managing venues, Savanna knows what it means to balance the pressures of working hard, stay calm under pressure and making sure people feel seen and are supported. Now in the final stretch of her Bachelor of Psychological Science (graduating in 2025), she’s passionate about the human side of work: what drives us, what challenges us and what keeps us safe and healthy.
By day, Savanna works as a Work Health and Safety Coordinator, championing safer, healthier workplaces. Whether it’s supporting teams on the ground or diving into the psychological principles behind behaviour and decision-making, she’s all about creating safe, supportive environments where people can thrive.
Tess Clemett

Wanderlust X Hospitality Human | Advocate For The Everyday.
With nearly a decade of experience in the health industry, Tess combines professional expertise with a deep passion for mental health advocacy. As a former owner of an online men’s gifting store, she championed the importance of accessible mental health support, utilising the platform while also drawing inspiration from her own experiences. Tess believes everyone deserves tools to navigate life’s challenges and works to empower others to be the best versions of themselves.
Her empathy extends beyond health. It was shaped by her younger years of hospitality experience, during which she developed a keen awareness of those suffering in silence.
